10 Minutes Tequila Shrimp recipe

Shrimp, Lime, Tequila, Garlic. What these four have in common? Yup, that is correct, they all make a wonderful meal that is really simple to make. Tequila Shrimp is what you need. Exotic taste, interesting combination and simple preparation.


  • 500g shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 1 lime
  • Crushed red pepper


Heat the oil over a medium temperature in a frying pan. Add garlic and cook it until cloves are golden brown.

Transfer shrimp to the frying pan and cook while stirring for 1 minutes. Add tequila, red pepper. Squeeze the lime into the pan. 

Cook for two minutes until half of the liquid evaporates. Shrimp should get pink and shiny.
