Morning Coconut and Persimmon Oatmeal recipe


Combining oatmeal with persimmons is not very usual but, believe our team, it is good. And by good we mean, terribly delicious! The meal is very quick to prepare as well.

Ingredients

  • 100ml coconut milk
  • 120ml water
  • 3 tablespoons oats
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened coconut flakes (and some more for sprinkling)
  • 0.5 persimmons

Preparation

Add coconut milk and water to a saucepan. Add a pinch of salt. Pour oats and coconut flakes. Bring to the boil over a medium heat. Donít forget to stir the oatmeal from time to time while cooking.

When you bring the oatmeal to the boil, simmer for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and let to stand for 1 minutes.

Cut persimmon into small cubes. Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl, top with persimmon cubes and sprinkle with coconut flakes.
