Sweet Strawberry Crepes recipe

Eh… What can be tastier than crispy crepes filled with strawberries and coated with warm melted chocolate. These will definitely melt in your mouth. So, don’t hesitate and read this breakfast recipe!

  • 1 cup kefir
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Pinch sugar
  • 0.33 teaspoons baking soda
  • Fresh strawberries 
  • Brown cane sugar
  • Icing sugar
  • Melted chocolate


Place flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Crack the eggs and stir.

Pour kefir, water, oil and baking soda. Stir well and set aside to stand for 20 minutes. You need to make rather liquid (but not completely liquid) batter for crepes to be thin.

Heat a skillet. Pour one tablespoon of oil and spread throughout the bottom.

Add some batter, make sure that it evenly coats the bottom. Cook over a low heat. Make sure that both sides of crepe nicely brown. Remove from the skillet and bend in half. Place cut strawberries and a pinch of brown cane sugar on the crepe. Bend in half once again. Sprinkle with icing sugar and decorate with a stripe of melted chocolate.
