Vegan Pasta with Bolognese Sauce recipe


Healthy and relatively nutritious Pasta with wonderful Bolognese Sauce is your stomach's best friend. Not only does this dish make you smile but also it is 100 percent vegan! Try the recipe now ;)

Ingredients

  • 400 g pasta
  • 1 onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 zucchini
  • 4-5 tomatoes
  • 400 g boiled chickpeas
  • 400 g boiled lentils
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup (or honey)
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 200ml water
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Preparation

Finely chop onion, garlic, carrot and zucchini and brown them in a skillet with a splash of olive oil until vegetables are nicely brown.

Cut tomatoes and transfer them to a saucepan, pour the water, season with salt, black pepper, basil, oregano and agave syrup and bring to the boil. Cook over a medium heat until the sauce thickens. When the sauce is almost ready (not completely ready) pour strained lentils and chickpeas to the saucepan.

Boil pasta in a pot in salted water for 7-9min.

When pasta is ready, serve it with the sauce.
